There are only days left to one of the most exciting events on London’s Fashion Week Calendar, Fashions Finest. Held on the 15th and 16th of September 2018 during London Fashion Week [at The Grand Connaught Rooms, 61-65 Great Queen Street, Holborn, London]. Not only are over 30 designers feverishly preparing and traveling from 12 countries to flock to the event to showcase their latest collections but also some of the models like the first professional model with downs syndrome Australian Madeline Stuart are making their way to join Chole Jasmine Whichello and Model Markus Roberts-Clark (Gender Quake) to this special edition of Fashions Finest.

This season designers are coming together to not only showcase but within this context take a stance on Fashions Finest’ agenda this season: Fashion and Inclusivity.

Known for their stance regarding inclusivity and the embracing of a wide range of new & explosive talent, the season their bi-annual panel discussion Let’s Talk Fashion Business is themed: ’Beyond Representation Inclusivity and Fashion.  Aiming to be the seed of effective change. Fashions Finest is looking to influence the industry beyond its own platform and encourage pushing inclusivity on all levels. The talk is followed by a closing catwalk soirée, which will include a scintillating cocktail collaboration of LFW models and real people of all shapes and sizes, each bringing their uniqueness to the runway at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.

Fashions Finest CEO Deborah St Louis says: “We have always firmly believed in inclusivity. Uncovering and celebrating unique beauty in ALL its forms is part of our industry. This isn’t just extended to our range of international and local fashion designers but also in the types of models we painstakingly select, to ensure our ethos is accurately outlaid for your appreciation, support and enjoyment. I am excited to not only have ex-paralympian and successful wheelchair model Samanta Bullock on our catwalk but also a worldwide phenomenon and the first professional model with Down syndrome, Madeleine Stuart.

We held castings inviting real people who live real lives and we feel truly honoured and excited for the great sense of fun and positive energy that they in turn, bring to this event”

Fashions Finest “Let’s Talk Fashion Business” discussion panel launched by Fashions Finest on 17th September 2017, was developed to be an interactive Q&A discussion forum lead by a team of notable industry panelists whose primary goal is to enable emerging brands to successfully navigate the industry turning ideas into profit. Fashions Finest “Let’s Talk Fashion Business” has proven itself a successful solution, filling a neglected void; an extremely successful provision which remains in high demand. Follow the link to register and to avoid disappointment for this popular and regularly oversubscribed Let’s Talk Fashion Business panel Beyond Representation Inclusivity and Fashion.
