Handel Hendrix House – the Mayfair museum once home to composer G.F. Handel and rock legend Jimi Hendrix at 25 Brook Street will be holding two of their annual and very popular events during the summer. Two weeks of the Hendrix Summer School, which is aimed at talented young guitarists and singers aged 12-18 takes place between July 27-31, 2026 and August 3-7, 2026.

And excitingly, to celebrate 10 years of sharing Jimi Hendrix’s London story at Handel Hendrix House, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, Electric Church returns to St Pancras Old Church at 7.30pm with Jimi Sessions alumni and House favourites Kimberly Nichole (Kim Nicky) and Marcus Machado co-headlining in the atmospheric surroundings.

Hendrix Summer School – July 27-31 & August 3-7, 2026
Aimed at talented young guitarists and singers aged 12-18, our weeklong summer school is for anyone passionate about playing the guitar, developing their creative songwriting skills, and for making new friends with a range of musical interests and backgrounds.

The first two days (for guitarists only) focus on developing playing style and technique, and the second two days are all about writing and performing, led by incredible guitarist Nigel Jones and songwriter Abimaro Gunnell. Each day will close with a jam session, open to family and friends. Participants can attend either the whole summer school or just the last three days. The final day of the week is for recording and performance, open to any young person that has attended the Summer School.
Course fees:
£180 for the complete summer school (July 27-31 or August 3-7)
£100 for songwriting sessions (July 29 -31 or August 5-7)
Complete and partial bursaries are available for students eligible for pupil premium or free school meals
