After a record-breaking season last year, tickets are now on sale for THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride, returning to London Euston Station on selected dates from 5 December to 23 December 2026.
This much-loved family Christmas experience will once again combine cinematic storytelling, theatrical flair and a touch of West End magic through its continued collaboration with Pip Minnithorpe, whose credits include Resident and Associate Director roles on major productions including Mamma Mia!, Wicked, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Spamalot and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
PNP Events, London Euston Station, Rail Events Inc. and Warner Bros. will once again join forces to bring the beloved Christmas story to life in a setting designed to capture all the wonder and atmosphere of the film.
Now firmly established as a festive highlight at London Euston Station, the experience has delighted passengers for the past two years and is set to return with all the magic audiences have come to expect.
This enchanting theatrical experience brings Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved story and the 2004 blockbuster film THE POLAR EXPRESS™ to life aboard a magnificent steam train. As in the film, guests of all ages are encouraged to wear pyjamas, with many families embracing the occasion in matching festive sleepwear that adds to the atmosphere on board.
The excitement builds on the platform as passengers await the arrival of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ before stepping aboard to find their lantern-lit table and begin their magical round-trip journey towards the North Pole. During the one-hour immersive experience, talented performers bring the much-loved characters to life as the conductor punches golden tickets, dancing chefs serve hot chocolate with a delicious cookie, and guests read along with the original story.
Guests are also invited to keep watch for the Hobo, who makes surprise appearances during the journey, before Santa and his cheerful elf assistant move through the carriages to present each passenger with a silver sleigh bell – the cherished first gift of Christmas. As the story reminds us, only those who truly believe can hear its gentle ring.
While listing to Christmas carols, guests can also choose to browse the gift shop for a festive keepsake before their adventure begins.
