Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is excited to share that applications for its much-loved community initiative, Winter Wishes, are officially open. The annual event gives charities, local groups, hospitals and schools the opportunity to enjoy a free, accessible and low-sensory experience at the UK’s largest festive event.
On Tuesday, December 1st between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Winter Wonderland will open exclusively to these guests ahead of the general public, giving them the incredible opportunity to experience the park and uncover all the magic that it has to offer in an inclusive environment designed just for them. The event will operate at a reduced capacity throughout Winter Wishes with a range of enhanced accessibility measures in place, such as reduced lighting and sound levels, additional changing areas and low-sensory skating on the Ice Rink.
For the fourth annual Winter Wishes, attendees will enjoy free entry and unlimited access to more than 100 rides and attractions, including an exclusive showing of Winter Wonderland’s brand-new, action-packed circus production: Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus, featuring a spectacular mix of comedy, storytelling and jaw-dropping visuals. They can additionally enjoy The Magical Ice Kingdom presents ‘Neverland’ in association with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, celebrating J.M. Barrie’s enduring legacy, which will also include audio guides.
Previous charity attendees have included Global’s Make Some Noise, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, and Royal Society For Blind Children alongside SEN, primary and secondary schools from across London boroughs who were invited to enjoy the magic of Winter Wonderland.
Suzy Griffiths, Head of UK Events, MARI said:”We’re thrilled to open applications for the fourth Winter Wishes community day and allow more people the opportunity and ability to experience the magic of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.
From a magical circus production to a spin on the ice rink, this special day allows those who may have otherwise found the event overwhelming to still enjoy a magical day out.”
Registration for Winter Wishes is open, with a limited number of spaces available. The application deadline is 30th September 2026. Applicants can click to apply here. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will be closed to the public from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1st with tickets available for purchase for the 2:00 PM session onwards.
