Images released of man sought in connection with Hackney pub assault


Detectives are appealing for help to identify a man following an assault in an east London club.

In the early hours of Saturday, 13 April, the 19-year-old-victim was drinking with friends at The Lighthouse Bar on Rivington Street in Hackney.

In an unprovoked attack, he was punched in the face by the suspect, which knocked him to the floor.

He attended hospital where he required surgery for a fractured cheek-bone and eye-socket.

Detectives have released CCTV stills of a man they wish to identify in connection with the assault.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
