An inspirational performance, which was dedicated towards a young six year-old girl who was born with Cystic Fibrosis, was the highlight of another emotional Factor Essex at the weekend.

Last sunday, the theme of the show at The Arlington Ballroom in Leigh-on-Sea was Pop Band Fever, while the contestants also sung in duets, allowing Team Joe Fryd’s Sophie Griffiths to team up with Laicie Bushell.

The two inspirational young girls took to the stage to perform a heart-warming rendition of the One Direction hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, which left two judges and several members of the audience in tears.

Throughout the performance, a video played on the screens behind the girls promoting a fundraiser to help six year-old Shiloh to get a specialist inflatable jacket – which would help to loosen the build up of mucus to support the ongoing treatment she is receiving.
