Grunberg & Co has been named as a finalist in two categories, Audit Team of the Year and Mid-Tier Firm of the Year: Less than £10m turnover, at the 2019 British Accountancy Awards.

A highlight of the accountancy profession’s calendar, the awards recognise the very best firms in the UK that deliver outstanding services to clients and have enjoyed significant growth.

In selecting the firm for the shortlist, the judges recognised Grunberg & Co’s exceptional work in the audit industry as a key commentator on issues and for its ability to win multi-national work.

Highly regarded by clients, Grunberg & Co’s audit team has enjoyed particular success in recent years by offering a different, highly personalised approach to the rest of the market.

Meanwhile, its inclusion in the Mid-Tier Firm of the Year category celebrates its wider successes, including the recruitment of new staff, the development of its two London offices in the City and Colindale and its ability to win and retain high-profile clients.

Speaking about the firm’s shortlisting, Robert Bean said: “Everyone at Grunberg & Co is really excited to be featured in two different categories at the British Accountancy Awards this year.

“We have made a number of revolutionary changes within our practice in the last couple of years, which has helped us to diversify into new areas and provide innovative support and advice to our growing list of clients.”

Earlier in the year, the firm celebrated a win at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards, where it was named best Single Office Tax Practice in the UK.

“It is nice that our peers and other businesses can recognise the hard work that our team puts into providing exceptional services to clients,” added Robert.

Grunberg & Co will find out if it has won at the British Accountancy Awards at a gala event due to be held on 25 September at Grosvenor House in Park Lane, London.
