Leading London indie film company Hereford Films has today announced a soundtrack division: Hereford Records.

The company will release soundtrack albums for its films on digital (and in some cases physical) formats, which will be available to buy via the company’s website.

The initial releases, available today, will be WE STILL KILL THE OLD WAY by Robert Geoffrey Hughes and WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY by Robert Geoffrey Hughes and Chris Hurst.

The films, which have become cult favourites, star Britflick icons Ian Ogilvy, Chris Ellison, Alison Doody, Billy Murray, Lysette Anthony, Steven Berkoff, James Cosmo and Patrick Bergin and were directed by Sacha Bennett (Bonded By Blood). A third and final film in the series, We Still Die The Old Way, is set for release in 2020.

Talking about the new venture and the initial releases, Hereford CEO Jonathan Sothcott commented: “Hereford is about giving audiences what they want and we are delighted to be making these two terrific British film soundtracks available to the public. I have collected movie soundtracks for years and these will be a welcome addition to my collection. I’m particularly pleased that we are releasing the deluxe limited edition CD albums as these keep with the films’ old school ethos.”
