Lyca Mobile now supports WiFi Calling across all mobile plans in the UK

WiFi Calling is now enabled across all Lyca Mobile plans in the UK, giving customers an improved calling experience in areas with limited or inconsistent mobile signal.

WiFi Calling is particularly beneficial in environments where traditional mobile coverage can be affected, such as office buildings, tube lines, or other indoor locations. By seamlessly switching to an available WiFi network, the feature helps ensure uninterrupted communication.

The service is available on a range of compatible handsets, including the latest Apple, Samsung and Android phones.

Calls made over WiFi will be deducted from a customer’s existing plan minutes, ensuring the feature integrates seamlessly with how customers already use their mobile service.

WiFi Calling will be available on both prepaid and postpaid services but cannot be used against international minutes or roaming data. The service will be available only in the home country of the customer’s plan.

Holly Flintoft, Head of Digital Sales UK, Lyca Mobile, said, “At Lyca Mobile, we are focused on making everyday connectivity as reliable and seamless as possible for our customers.

“By enabling WiFi Calling across all our mobile plans, we are taking another step in improving everyday connectivity for our customers. Whether at home, at work or in places where mobile signal can fluctuate, WiFi Calling helps ensure people stay connected when it matters.”

Lyca Mobile continues to invest in features and services that enhance reliability and ease of use for customers across the UK, supporting better connectivity.
