Lyre’s – the world’s most awarded non-alcoholic spirit brand – is bringing the Mexican fiesta to cities across the UK this May, as it prepares to launch a two-week nationwide tour of its non-alcoholic Margarita bar truck. With a host of live music acts to entertain guests and alcohol-free Margaritas available for all, Lyre’s invites you to celebrate the launch of its new, premium tequila-style variant – Agave Blanco Spirit – this Cinco de Mayo.
Kicking things off on Thursday 5th May 2022, Lyre’s will first host an open-invite launch party on in London’s Spitalfields Market in Shoreditch. Londoners looking to spice up their Cinco de Mayo celebrations can drop by the truck on Brushfield St to grab a free, non-alcoholic Lyre’s Margarita, made using Lyre’s Agave Blanco Spirit, Lyre’s Orange Sec, lime juice and syrup – with a sprinkling of salt for that authentic Mexican taste.
Lighting up the dancefloor from 6.00pm – 8.00pm, guests will also be able to shake their stuff with a live DJ set, performed by Lyre’s superfan and clubland legend, DJ Fat Tony.
DJ Fat Tony commented: “I recently celebrated 15 years of being clean and sober, and I’ve tried my fair share of non-alcoholic spirit over the years. They were all quite average until I tried Lyre’s during the first lockdown. It’s a complete game changer and is by far my favourite brand on the market. I’m completely sober, but sometimes you still want to celebrate an occasion with something a little more special. Lyre’s have hit the nail on the head with this one, all the taste, none of the guilt. I’m a huge fan, so really looking forward to being part of this event and creating an unforgettable experience for you this Cinco de Mayo.”
After the launch party on May 5th, the Lyre’s roadshow will continue to tour various London locations across three more days, before continuing on for the rest of its 10-day UK tour.
Visitors to the truck will receive a voucher entitling them to a special offer on Lyre’s to redeem at a local bar in each city, meaning guests can continue their Cinco de Mayo celebrations with Lyre’s even after the roadshow has left town.
