Maker’s Market launched at Livat Hammersmith

Yesterday marked the launch of the first ‘Maker’s Market’ at Livat Hammersmith – a new pop-up experience that is inviting independent brands from Hammersmith and Fulham to take over a stall in the meeting place to showcase their original products.

Vendors will range from selling handmade jewellery to beautiful artwork, but all are Hammersmith and Fulham based and all will be bringing their unique offerings for shoppers to enjoy. In partnership with Hammersmith BID, the market will be running on select days from the 20th March right until the 14th of April, giving locals plenty of time to come down and check out the stalls for themselves.

Not only will this market support local artists and independent businesses, it will also support the local environment by being entirely carbon neutral. All of the products are zero emissions and transported to Livat using a range of electric vehicles.

Natalia Petalina, Meeting Place Manager at Livat Hammersmith commented: “We feel passionately about supporting the local community in Hammersmith, especially when it comes to showcasing brilliant entrepreneurs who have sustainability at the heart of their businesses’. There are some great stalls lined up with beautiful products and we are so excited to welcome them to Livat over the next few weeks. Don’t miss the opportunity to come down and see them for yourselves!”

Some of the businesses committed to attend are:

Juliette Smeed Jewellery

Red Root Remedies

Ty Photography

Natalia Bobrova Gallery

Bledsoe Bags

Sabani Linens

Milton Arts

Hammersmith BID Director, Patricia Bench commented: “We are delighted to be working closely with Livat on this exciting opportunity for Hammersmith & Fulham artists and makers. It will be a fabulous boost for these local businesses to be part of the thrilling story at the newly opened Livat Hammersmith.”

Livat Hammersmith launched just last month, having been officially opened by Ingka Centres – part of the Ingka Group. This followed a £170 million investment to create a new space for residents, Londoners and visitors to come together to have fun, to experience new things, and to eat and shop.
