Myleene Klass and Laura Whitmore attended STAEDTLER’s Home of the Pencil pop-up in London today, Wednesday 26 August, as the brand celebrates 125 years of its iconic Noris pencil.
The pair joined the celebrations at 6 Monmouth Street, Seven Dials, Covent Garden, where STAEDTLER has transformed the space into a free creative experience celebrating the simple joy of drawing, doodling and putting pencil to paper.
Running from Wednesday 26 to Saturday 29 August, Home of the Pencil invites visitors of all ages to explore pencil-powered creativity through live art, interactive drawing experiences and hands-on workshops.
Visitors can enjoy complimentary live portraits from artists including Mr Lee, Lucia Vinti, Elly Bazigos and Ratbag, while a programme of creative workshops will be hosted by Natalya Lobanova, Rob Biddulph, Han Rivers and Phil Dean aka Shoreditch Sketcher.
The experience celebrates 125 years of the STAEDTLER Noris pencil, which has become synonymous with learning, drawing and self-expression across generations. First introduced in 1901, the distinctive black-and-yellow Noris pencil continues to be used around the world, with approximately 45 million Noris pencils sold in the UK in 2025 alone.
In an age increasingly shaped by screens, smartphones and AI, Home of the Pencil encourages visitors to slow down, reconnect with their imagination and rediscover the joy of creating something by hand.
The pop-up is open to the public from 2pm–7pm on Wednesday 26 August, and 11am–7pm from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 August.
