Striding back onto the Canary Wharf Estate for its fourth consecutive year, Nashville Meets London will once again bring established and emerging talent representing country music to the Capital in July. Boasting a stellar line-up, London’s largest free country music festival is perfect for families, country aficionados and even those tapping a toe to the genre for the very first time.

Since its debut at Canary Wharf in 2016, Nashville Meets London has presented the best in both established and new talent. With acts from both sides of the Atlantic hitting the stage, Nashville Meets London is the ideal place to witness some of country music’s shining stars.

This year’s headline act is Lauren Alaina, 2018’s ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year Winner. Also appearing from the States will be Sarah Darling, who has recently launched her 5th studio Album, Wonderland, and is the star of E! Entertainment Television’s reality show The Entertainer and ABC’s Rising Star.

Some of the UK’s hottest home-grown talents will also be rocking up to the mic this year. Robert Vincent, who won the UK Americana Music Association’s award for ‘Album of the Year’ will be taking to the stage along with Twinnie, who was recently recognised by Rolling Stone as a stand-out act.

Other top acts include Noah Guthrie, best known for his pivotal role as Roderick Meeks on Glee, and semi-finalist on season 13 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and Foreign Affairs, the country-rock duo from Bristol, comprising of brothers Adam and Lawrence Purnell.

The Canary Wharf Estate is home to over 300 shops, bars and restaurants – meaning festival-goers can truly make a day of it with friends and family.

Christy Watkins, Nashville Meets Londonsaid: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing Nashville Meets London back to Canary Wharf for the fourth year in a row. It’s a brilliant setting for one of London’s best free music events and we cannot wait to stage yet another year of amazing performances.”

Lucie Moore, Head of Arts and Events, Canary Wharf said: “The star acts of Nashville Meets London have always wowed the crowds, and we have no doubt this year will continue the trend. We always get such a huge response from the UK’s country fans who have this marked in their calendar every year – but with such a variety of performers, it is a fantastic day out for any music fan.”

The Nashville Meets London music festival is co-produced by Canary Wharf Arts + Events, Peter Conway Management and Nashville-based agency, The AristoMedia Group.  U.K. based radio DJ Baylen Leonard serves as Host.
