In the most recent update, these issues along with other surprises and bugs were fixed. Here are some of the most notable changes made this week:

Character Server Transfers

As the worlds come back online, Amazon is ensuring that everyone can safely transfer back their characters to new home worlds. Your new home in Aeternum awaits you and friends; however here is something you need to know:

• World transfers will be rolled out incrementally in New World, until all players are transferred around.
• You need to redeem your single-use World Transfer token at the store.
• Transferred character must be in a Settlement, Outpost, Spirit Shrine or Watchtower
• You cannot belong to a company before transferring
• Can’t have active trading posts buying or selling orders.
• IMPORTANT: Your friends list will not carry over!

Your transfer will carry over the following:

• Character Level, Weapons, Mastery, Titles, and any character progression you had.
• Everything in your storage or inventory
• Households and Decorations
• Quest Progressions
• Currency you own

During this period characters can be transferred to any world in your region, except for full worlds, worlds in maintenance, and to a world set where you already have a character. Players should pay extreme attention to the transfer process as you will need a new token if you mistakenly transfer your character into a server away from your friends or guild. Transferring back might take some time, as developers will wait for players to finish the process to issue new transfer tokens for purchase at the store.

In the general updates the messages for AFK, or violating EAC are amongst the most notable. Gameplay wise, the changes to In The Depths make it so players need to necessarily be inside the arena to damage Thorpe. Boatswain Ambrose, and other elite enemies inside the game have also had their respawn timers readjusted. And chest and loots were reverted into an earlier version, as too many refinement reagents were being rolled from chests.

The new patch also added various bug fixes that can be found within their news on New World website. Overall, there are various minor improvements happening, as well as the study and recognition of more urgent fixes for the next update. Hopefully, during the next update we can finally find a way to get unstuck without the need to contact customer support to get unstuck. Nonetheless, some instances of getting stuck were fixed, and players stuck at respawn are now given some respawn options into the game.
