Paris duo Jahneration announce debut LONDON show!

Jahneration is Theo and Ogach Chant, a reggae / dancehall / hip hop duo from Paris founded in 2009.

Diversity, unity and sharing of music is their main purpose which they apply to their lyrics and ways of working. For the very first time they bring their exceptional show to the UK for a one-off show in London at O2 Academy2 Islington on 18 April 2020. Encouraging, hopeful and dynamic lyrics combined with catchy and melodic riddims are the ingredients of this Parisian musical cocktail.

In 2011 they posted the track ‘Me Nah Fed Up’ on YouTube with the French singer Naâman. The videos initiated a fast craze on YT which gave the opportunity to the duo to develop and they created a vast dedicated following on social networks. In 2015, Jahneration reached a milestone in its development, by joining the Ovastand label. A new team of four musicians was formed and they started touring intensively. The clips ‘No Want’ and ‘Reload’ (shot in India) came out and quickly accumulated over one million views.

After the award winning first album Jahneration – released in 2017 – their last release, Stuck In The Middle (September 2019), clearly showed that they can handle several music styles with ease. From reggae, via pop, rock and dancehall, to hip hop vibes, all can be enjoyed on this album – it’s danceable with catchy melodies and rich arrangements. They are currently touring in Europe and they will play at the Olympia, Paris in March 2020 and travel on to London in April for their first ever UK show.
