Nominations are now open for the 2017 Pride of Brent Awards as they return for another year. Nominations must be received by 12noon on Monday 9 October 2017. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Brent Civic Centre on Thursday 23 November 2017.
The Awards celebrate those selfless individuals, community groups and local businesses who contribute so much to the borough and who have gone the extra mile to make Brent a better place to live and work in 2017.
They come from all walks of life, from different backgrounds, ages and cultures. The positive impact of their work can be seen throughout life in Brent.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Muhammed Butt, said: “We need to celebrate and publicly thank all of the people, local groups and businesses who are doing their very best for their fellow Brent residents.”
