REAL HOUSEWIVES OF CHESHIRE STAR TANYA BARDSLEY’S LADIES DAY LOOK FALLS AT FIRST HURDLE

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley was banned from entering the Ladies Day Style Award at Aintree today after her outfit was refused entry.
Bardsley’s attempt at snatching the best-dressed crown included the ultimate equine accessory, a real-life mare inspired by the favourite for this year’s Grand National, Tiger Roll.
Tanya, 37, approached William Hill with the haute couture concept last month after being
inspired by this season’s fashion must-have, tiger print. William Hill, understanding the time and effort that goes into racegoers’ wardrobes, briefed horse barber Melody Hames to create a one-off design to match Tanya’s Ladies Day look.
Tanya said, ‘Ladies Day at Aintree is one of the most important days in my social calendar, who doesn’t like getting dressed up? I’m ditching the designer names for the ultimate
accessory this year; a horse styled like the 4/1 favourite Tiger Roll. I may not have won best dressed, so fingers crossed the real Tiger Roll does the business on Saturday.”
Melody Hames, the horse barber behind the tiger design, said, “Tanya wanted a design that matched her Ladies Day outfit. I have to admit it’s one of the strangest requests I’ve ever had, but I never back down from a challenge! Lucky loves getting her hair cut and the
attention of people, she’s as much a diva as Tanya, to be honest…”
Tiger Roll leads the way in the stakes for this year’s Grand National as he looks to become the first horse to go back-to-back in the Grand National since Red Rum in 1973/74. William Hill are pricing the favourite at 4/1.
Latest odds with William Hill (odds subject to change):
  • Tiger Roll 4/1
  • Rathvinden 10/1
  • Vintage Clouds 12/1
