REVOLUT’S CIO JOINS WIZZ FINANCIAL AS ITS NEW CEO ANTON PASIECHNIKOV JOINS THE MENA REGION’S LARGEST FINTECH

Wizz Financial, a leading global fintech company specializing in cross-border payments, has appointed Anton Pasiechnikov as its new chief executive officer. Pasiechnikov joins after serving as Revolut’s chief investment officer.

Pasiechnikov has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector helping international organizations fulfill their missions and develop strong teams. He has deep expertise in managing market risks, maintaining a global high volume hedging platform for foreign exchange, international transfers, precious metals, and crypto trading, most recently as Chief Investment Officer of Revolut. In that role, he designed investment infrastructure and scaled up global financial functions for the company. He previously served in a variety of roles at Credit Suisse and Renaissance Capital.

Pasiechnikov received his master’s degree in Biochemical Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics & Technology and an Executive MBA degree from London Business School.
