This July, join the Royal Opera House for a special, live-streamed Insight. Actor and director Rikki Beadle Blair chairs a thought-provoking panel that features some of the UK’s most celebrated LGBTQ+ voices from across the creative industries.

Join vocalist and songwriter David McAlmont, soprano Ella Taylor, choreographer Eleanor Perry, and Dan Gillespie Sells, composer of the music for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, as we commemorate 50 years since the inaugural London Pride in 1972, celebrating the great contribution of LGBTQ+ artists throughout history and highlighting the creative industries’ pivotal role in providing a space for the community to flourish.

Rikki Beadle-Blair said: ‘The only thing as exciting as making entertainment and art…. is inspiring others to make their own. This is a terrific opportunity to have a fun lovely insightful conversation with fascinating guests and ignite creative fires in each other and the audience. And that the focus is LGBTQ+ creativity makes it all the more thrilling.’

The event is part of the Royal Opera House’s wider Insights programme, which includes live streamed events, open rehearsals, pre-performance talks and participatory workshops. Tickets to watch in person are available to buy on our website, and the event will be broadcast live on the ROH YouTube Channel for free.
