Show your love for London this Valentine’s Day

As a Valentine’s Day under lockdown approaches, London’s Air Ambulance Charity has created an exclusive dinner and cocktail menu for us to enjoy at home.

Whether it is a meal for you and your partner, your family or support bubble, the downloadable menu will help you create a special evening while showing your love for London’s life-saving charity.

Donations made in return for the menu will help London’s Air Ambulance to be there for everyone who lives and works in London. The life-saving service takes specialist trauma teams to the scene, attending on average five incidents a day where a loved one’s life is on the line.

Keen home chef and London paramedic Richard Webb Stevens began working for London’s Air Ambulance in 2015. Richard met his wife Marie 28 years ago when they were both working in Charing Cross Hospital.

On Richard’s menu is a starter of Moroccan Carrot & Avocado Salad or Prawns Pil Pil.

The main course is a choice of Spinach & Feta Filo Pie with Mezze sides or Salmon & Leek Gratin Pie with Seasonal Vegetables.

Dessert is time to indulge in Rhubarb and Apple Pie.

To accompany the meal, Alessandro Palazzi from Dukes Bar will also give a masterclass on how to make the classic cocktail the French 75, perfect for Valentine’s day.

You can make a donation in a loved one’s name and download the menu by visiting www.londonsairambulance.org.uk/valentines-day and donations are optional.

Paramedic Richard says: “By dedicating a donation to someone special and downloading my menu you are helping London’s Air Ambulance to be there when London needs us, this Valentine’s Day and beyond.”
