It’s time for families to get excited as London’s Natural History Museum announces a new special sleepover for families with children aged 7- 17 taking place on 3 October 2026!
Usually open to 7 – 11 year olds, this special night is exclusively open to families with children from 7 to 17 to take part and sleep in this legendary location
Dino Snores for Kids is chance for families to visit the Museum after it closes to the general public and have time to explore the galleries as well as having some exclusive after-hour activities.
Arriving at the iconic building in South Kensington, guests will set up camp under Hope the blue whale in the iconic Hintze Hall, or VIP ticket holders will arrive to a ready-made camp bed by Sophie the Stegosaurus.
Once sleeping spots are selected, visitors will have a chance to take part in activities including our brand-new Sharks vs. Dino Science Show!, get up close with some fossils and have a Jurassic animal encounter, before finally bedding down surrounded by the Museum’s celebrated specimens. After sleeping within a whisper of the Museums incredible creatures, visitors will find themselves awoken bright and early, in time to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast. Before the world-famous Museum opens for the day, visitors will enjoy an exclusive morning trail around the iconic galleries exploring the natural world.
Perfect for groups and families with children ages 7-17, Dino Snores for Kids Special event takes place on 3rd October 2026 from 18.30 finishing at 10.00 the following day. Tickets to the exclusive event start from £110 per person or £160 per person for VIP tickets.
VIP tickets include a camp bed in a special camping area around Sophie the Stegosaurus, a free gift on arrival for children, a pre-packed snack lunch box for the evening snack break and a cooked breakfast as well as an animal handling show in the morning.
