Southside Shopping Centre has announced that specialist coffee brand, Black Sheep Coffee, is joining its food and beverage line-up. The fast-growing company, which as well as operating across the UK has cafes in Paris, Manila and soon in Dallas, Texas, will open its doors on Thursday 9th February, in a 1,636 sq ft unit located on Wandsworth Road.
The branch will sell its full range of single-origin coffees, all made with 100% speciality grade Robusta coffee, alongside signature drinks, Norwegian waffles, organic smoothies, shakes and freshly-baked patisserie.
Guests will also be able to purchase Black Sheep Coffee’s speciality coffee beans and Nespresso-compatible pods in store, with all five varieties of coffee available: Robusta Revival, Blue Volcano, Love Berries, Bossa Nova and Rebel Decaf.
With an ethos of #LEAVETHEHERDBEHIND and a mission of ridding the world of boring, average coffee, Black Sheep Coffee was founded by university flatmates, Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet in 2013. Since its inception, the brand has opened more than 61 branches in the UK as well as France, the Philippines and soon in America.
Environmental sustainability is also key to Black Sheep Coffee. The brand buys its coffee directly from plantations, ensuring that the picking, drying and washing process follows a sustainable model which protects the environment, and everyone involved.
