As London continues to follow the government’s advice to stay at home, protect our NHS and save lives during the on-going coronavirus (covid-19) crisis, St George’s Macmillan Cancer Support Centre is reaching out to self-isolating cancer patients by launching its very own YouTube channel.

The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre, based at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting, is temporarily closed to visitors due to the pandemic.

However, the determined team have found an innovative and safe way to continue to support local people affected by cancer, by launching a YouTube channel offering daily wellbeing sessions.

Anyone affected by cancer in South West London can contact the St George’s Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre team on 0208 725 2677 or email: [email protected]; 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

The St George’s YouTube channel can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2hmgAlGy4tjAK2QEZ9vQDQ
