No festival is complete without fantastic food and drink and this year, Summer by the River has gone above and beyond with an incredible offering. For three months, Bar by the River will transport visitors to a leafy Greek taverna with Summer by the River’s biggest pop-up dining experience yet. Overlooking The Scoop, it’s the perfect location for a sun-set cocktail or lunchtime stop for some delicious Mediterranean cuisine. With plenty of seating and planting for shade, Bar by the River is set to be a Summer Capital highlight.

At the opposite end to The Scoop, pop-up heavyweight, Jimmy’s Pop-Up will be bringing pizza perfection to The Pier at London Bridge City this summer. What better way to pay homage to Mediterranean summer days than by visiting the new pizza parlour and spritz bar!

Visitors can enjoy their dream pizzas at Summer by the River 7 days a week or round up friends and pre-book a pier pizza party. Here festival goers can enjoy a 3-course dining experience with starters of antipasti with Nocellara olives, smoked almonds and rosemary grissini. And the main event – build your own pizzas with all the toppings you fancy, before finishing with a classic affogato.

Jimmy’s Pop-Up are fanatical about pizza and have a deep appreciation for the perfect dough, a great sauce, obscenely good crusts, and have poured a lot of love into sourcing the freshest ingredients for the toppings. You’ll be able to taste it with each bite!

Information on individual events will be announced in due course and will also be available to view on the London Bridge City website here www.londonbridgecity.co.uk/events.
