The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, returns to London at The Truman Brewery this October, bringing together over 135 independent artists for four days of art, creativity and discovery featuring guest artist Amelia Troubridge, Manumission and themes including a nod to the 90s.
Running from 8th -11th October 2026, The Other Art Fair offers visitors the opportunity to discover the next generation of creative talent and buy directly from the artists behind the work.
With nearly 80% of artists based in the UK, the London edition reflects the breadth and diversity of today’s independent art scene. With artists exhibiting across a wide range of mediums and at accessible price points, The Other Art Fair continues its mission to make collecting art feel welcoming, exciting and achievable.
A new wave of artists
The Other Art Fair shines a spotlight on a new wave of independent artists, with four standout names making their debut at the 2026 London Fair.
Holly Garbett, a London-based oil painter born in Birmingham, draws inspiration from family photographs to create nostalgic, memory-like compositions. With hands and faces anchoring her expressive paintings, Garbett distorts familiar memories through loose, energetic brushwork, exploring love, loss and longing.
Korean-American painter based in London, Courtney Bae, works across expressive oil portraiture, figuration and landscape. Her practice explores trauma, resilience and identity, balancing fluid, visceral mark making with moments of whimsy.
Danielle Verbeeten creates hyperrealistic pastel works that capture light, form and fleeting moments with striking precision. Her background in industrial design and experience as a Lego designer in Denmark inform her exacting approach, while her work retains an intimate, almost tactile quality. She was shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year in 2024 and has exhibited at London’s Mall Galleries.
Emmanuelle Walker creates paintings inspired by everyday scenes and fragments of light, reorganising what she sees through grids, repetition and structural constraint. Her work moves between recognition and abstraction, finding beauty in overlooked moments through composition, pattern and spatial rhythm.
Cultural Programming
As ever, The Other Art Fair is about more than simply looking at art. Visitors can expect a programme of creative encounters designed to blur the boundaries between art, music and culture.
Join Manumission for exclusive Friday Lates programming. The legendary Ibiza institution Manumission will bring its nightlife energy to The Truman Brewery for an exclusive evening of music, conversation and culture with notable DJs and a dedicated hour to discuss their new book, The Motel.
The Other Art Fair welcomes celebrated British photographer Amelia Troubridge as our Guest Artist for 2026, presenting a series of works from her England archive (1995–2023), including portraits of Steve Coogan, Nick Cave and Olivia Colman, alongside images drawn from nearly three decades of photographing British culture and society. Amelia will be present at the fair throughout the weekend, offering visitors the opportunity to meet the artist, discover the stories behind her work and explore her unique perspective on the people, places and moments that have shaped contemporary British culture.
Amelia is the author of eight solo publications, including Dublin Urban Cowboys (1996 Café Royal Books), Trouble with Amelia (Booth Clibborn Editions), and Joan of Arc Had Style (Trolley Books). Her work has been exhibited at the Design Museum, The Photographers’ Gallery, Phillips, and Glastonbury Festival in 2024-2025.
Visitors can take home something entirely unique with Luke, The Other Art Fair’s resident typewriter poet. Stationed at the bar throughout the Fair, Luke invites visitors to pick a topic, from love and their dog to the thing they simply can’t stop thinking about before watching him transform their thoughts into an original poem, typed out on the spot.
London based collective Club Lune Bleue will soundtrack Saturday at the The Other Art Fair with a curated line-up of resident DJs and special guests. Championing women DJs and producers, the collective will bring its commitment to inclusivity and diverse electronic sounds to the Truman Brewery.
Creative Corner will also return, inviting visitors of all ages to get involved with a series of creative prompts. Visitors can add their creations to an evolving display wall or take their work home, leaving their own mark on the Fair.
New Futures
The Other Art Fair’s New Futures programme continues its commitment to supporting emerging artists at the beginning of their careers. Partnering for this October’s edition,with Central Saint Martins College of Art, two recent graduates have the opportunity to showcase their work to a new audience of collectors and art lovers.
The programme will feature MA graduate Kitty Jenkins and BA graduate Rajesh Bhovan. Jenkins’ practice explores the human figure as a form in flux, using fragmented and reconstructed imagery to investigate representation, identity and otherness. Her recent work considers the female form through mythology, folklore and horror, challenging conventional ideas of femininity and transformation. Bhovan’s painting practice draws on both old Hollywood and Bollywood cinema, exploring the relationship between film, colour, celebrity and worship. As a British South Asian artist, his work examines cinema as a contemporary temple and questions the relationship between spectatorship, reverence and commodification.
Under £300 Collection
The Other Art Fair’s popular Under £300 Collection returns this October, bringing together a specially curated selection of works priced at £300 and under, all created by artists exhibiting at the Fair. Designed to make collecting feel accessible and intentional, the collection gives visitors the chance to discover original works at an approachable price point.
Selection Committee
A defining feature of The Other Art Fair is the opportunity for visitors to meet artists directly, hear the stories behind their work and discover practices that they may not encounter elsewhere.
The October selection committee brings together leading voices from the contemporary art world, including Margate based artist Lindsey Mendick and London based independent curator, artist advisor, collector and patron Marcelle Joseph. Their combined perspectives have helped shape an artist line up designed to champion fresh voices, independent practices and artists pushing creative boundaries.
Supporting East London’s Creative Community
The Other Art Fair is also proud to partner with businesses that champion creativity, community and new ways of thinking. TaskHer, the UK platform connecting customers with skilled tradeswomen, brings its mission to challenge gender diversity in the trades to the Fair, while East London based Dog Leg Studios, a bespoke framing studio with roots stretching back to 1918, brings its craft and maker led approach to the presentation and preservation of art.
