Travelodge targets parents with recruitment drive to fill 20 jobs in London

Travelodge, the UK’s first budget hotel chain today celebrates the start of National Bed Month (March) by kick starting its national search to fill 4,000 housekeeping roles throughout 2020. These jobs are a combination of roles in forthcoming new Travelodge hotel openings, additional summer cover and to fill opportunities that become available in the company’s 573 UK hotels throughout the year.

Travelodge has 150 housekeeping positions that need to be filled immediately, including 20 in London, where it operates 77 hotels.

Travelodge’s housekeeping teams are regarded as the company’s ‘Heroes’. The housekeeping teams work 365 days a year to ensure Travelodge’s 18 million plus customers are always welcomed with a high standard room. The team collectively spend over 1 million hours a year making-up the luxurious king-size Travelodge Dreamer bed.

The vast majority of roles are permanent with flexible working hours designed around the school run.
