Two men have been charged with the murder of Russell Jordan Jones in Enfield.


Detectives investigating the murder of 23-year-old Russell Jordan Jones in Enfield have charged two men with his murder.

Bilkan Bilkaner – 20 and Duke Quainoo – 20, both from Enfield, have both been charged with murder. They were both arrested on Wednesday the 25 April.

They will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 27 April.

Four other people – three men [A] 22; [C] 24; [D] 22 and a woman [B] 20 – have previously been arrested as part of this investigation. All remain released under investigation.

Detectives continue to investigate Russell’s murder and the stabbing of a 23-year-old man. Both men were found suffering injuries after police were called at approximately 00:40hrs on Saturday, 17 March to South Street, Enfield.

Russell was found suffering stab and gunshot injuries – he was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was discharged following treatment.

A post mortem was conducted on the 22 March at Haringey Mortuary and the cause of death was confirmed as stab wounds to the chest.
