Third film in Britflick franchise kicks off with swanky lunch party in London’s West End.
Actors Ian Ogilvy, Chris Ellison, Janine Nerissa and Billy Murray joined director Zack Adler and producer Jonathan Sothcott at a sumptuous lunch to mark the start of pre-production on the second sequel to 2014’s cult gangster movie We Still Kill The Old Way. The third movie in the series, We Still Die The Old Way, is due to commence shooting. Written by Russell Whitfield, the hard hitting, gritty film will be directed by Zackary Adley, whose previous successes include The Fall of The Krays and Rise of the Footsoldier 3: The Pat Tate Story.
Plot details are closely guarded but not all of the regular cast, which includes Tony Denham, Nicky Henson, Alison Doody and Hollyoaks favourite Lysette Anthony are expected to survive.
The first two films were huge successes on DVD and television and are well loved for the platform they give to older iconic British actors. Others who have starred in the series include Steven Berkoff, Patrick Bergin, Vas Blackwood, Julian Glover, Deborah Moore and James Cosmo.
We Still Die The Old Way will be a Hereford Films Production. Hereford has recently completed filming the US horror Aura and another gritty Britflick The Krays – Dead Man Walking starring Rita Simons and directed by Richard John Taylor. Hereford is currently in pre-production on two more horrors: Pentagram and Tormented, with a third, provisionally entitled Demonicus, slated to shoot later in the Summer.
