2-for-1 Ramen Bowls at Ivan Ramen as Cult Favourite Reopens with New Tachigui-Inspired Concept

On Friday the 19th June, cult restaurant Ivan Ramen UK will be revamping its operations to a ‘tachigui style’, aligning further with its Japanese cultural roots. In celebration of its faster and more efficient operation, Ivan Ramen will be offering 2-for-1 on select ramen bowls between 12pm and 4pm on launch weekend (19th – 21st June).

Tachigui style is the traditional service method used in Japanese ramen restaurants and means guests order and pay in a single interaction. Focused on efficiency, it makes it easier than ever to drop into Ivan Ramen for a lunch between meetings, a solo bite, or a spontaneous dinner date whilst embracing the dining culture that has long made ramen bars a fixture of daily life in Japan.

From the bold Spicy Miso Red Chilli to the indulgent Tonkotsu, the launch weekend is your chance to slurp and share a free bowl from London’s most iconic ramen bar. For those who are keen to reach super-fan status, there is also the opportunity to secure a Black Card in the first six weeks of relaunch. Pop in once a week during this period and enjoy 20% off for the rest of the year.

Behind Ivan Ramen is Ivan Orkin, the internationally renowned ramen master and star of Netflix’s Chef’s Table, who first launched Ivan Ramen in Tokyo before expanding to New York and Las Vegas, and most recently London’s Farringdon (November 2025). The restaurant quickly made its mark on London’s competitive dining scene with its flavour-packed ramen and moreish small plates, attracting local, devoted Ivan fans and newcomers alike.

The repositioning of Farringdon marks an exciting next step in Ivan Ramen’s journey, inviting customers to experience it at its most authentic. While the refurbishment is here to stay, the offer of 2-for-1 bowls is almost as speedy as its service, so make sure to head down on opening weekend (19 – 21 June) to secure the goods.
