Inside Miss Surrey’s Ripple Effect

5’3 tall Tiffany Bayliss, a dual law graduate, serial entrepreneur and the self-proclaimed unlikely contestant for the Miss Great Britain 2018 pageants completed her giving back campaign aptly named the Ripple Effect.

In this campaign, she offered her microblading services to give back to her community in Surrey particularly targeting women over 45 which she describes as the “cornerstones of their communities” and who were suffering from hair loss. She dedicated her time from the 3rd -10th of September to empower these women through restoring their self-confidence by (re) creating perfectly shaped brows.

She posted of her experience on instagram:

“When I first started my journey as a finalist in the Miss Great Britain pageant, I will be the first to admit that I struggled to find a sense of meaningful impact that I could instigate as the Miss Surrey titleholder.
As a certified Microblading artist, I established an initiative that would positively empower and change the perspectives of 10 women. I chose woman over the age of 45 as I believe that these women are the cornerstones of our communities.
They are our mothers, educators and leaders. By empowering one woman over 45 that suffers from a debilitating form of hair loss, the positive ripple effect in their communities can be monumental.
It has been an absolute honour to give back to my community but furthermore to define what being a Miss Great Britain is and that is a woman that is strong and inspires strength within women of all ages.”

Tiffany Bayliss is set to compete this Friday the 14th of September representing Surrey.

Luxury Couture Designer Julia Suzuki is one sponsor of Miss Surrey and teased with a partial glimpse at the show-stopping bespoke beachwear created for the 23-year-old beauty on her Instagram.

Julia says: “It is not something that I would normally do but having seen the journey of this exceptional young lady so far and her immense potential I thought it to be important to support. Like myself, she is a businesswoman who is boldly forging her way with deep sense of purpose and heart.

I find it is not only of great importance but also a duty to support fellow women like her and those that come after us. Miss Surrey serves as an inspiration to create your own kind of ripple effect.

I was touched by the campaign she created aptly named The Ripple Effect; honouring and empowering women that have come before her and struggled with their self-confidence and image following hair loss and restoring their self-confidence.”

Tiffany is also fundraising for Globals Make Some Noise Childrens Charity:

There is still time to vote by texting MISSGB 04 to 64343 to support Tiffany in winning the title.

The National Final will take place at The Athena in Leicester on Friday 14th September 2018. http://www.missgreatbritain.co.uk
