London City Airport has strengthened its growing leisure offering with the launch of a new British Airways route to Toulon, Provence, operated by BA Cityflyer, bringing the French Riviera within easy reach for the summer season.
The new route complements the airport’s existing links to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, with Toulon–Hyères Airport serving as the closest commercial airport to St Tropez.

To mark the addition of this important route, customers travelling on Tuesday 26 May were welcomed to the gate in style with a French Riviera beach club experience, complete with deckchairs, parasols and a live saxophonist.
London City Airport and BA Cityflyer colleagues greeted passengers with chilled soft drinks, while a ‘Whispering Angel’ rosé tasting bar added an extra touch of Provence glamour.
As part of the launch, London City Airport is running a competition across its social media channels, giving entrants the chance to win two Club Europe return flights to Toulon with British Airways.
The first of the seasonal, twice weekly flights left London City Airport on Saturday 23 May. The route will fly until Tuesday 1 September. Flights start from £90 each way including taxes and fees and a generous hand-baggage allowance.
