London Eye celebrates the festive season with the return of its annual Christmas Light Show

An iconic and colourful display of lights will shine over London this festive season, as the London Eye announces the return of its Christmas light show.

With Christmas fast approaching, the renowned attraction has revealed it will host a festive light show to dazzle and delight from 4pm every evening from Wednesday 15th December until Christmas Day. The famous wheel will be lit up with a bespoke display allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit.

The Christmas light show comprises a two minute light display transitioning between five festive-themed designs: blue sparkle representing a starry night sky; red and white depicting Santa; green and red reflecting the colours of holly; a multi-coloured design symbolic of Christmas tree lights; and white sparkle to illustrate a glittering snowscape.

Sunny Jouhal, General Manager at the London Eye, said: “London comes alive during the festive season and is one of the most magical places in the world to enjoy this special time. We are thrilled to host this enchanting light show and send out a festive message of celebration across the city. We hope this special experience will bring Christmas joy to Londoners and visitors in the city this holiday season.”

The Christmas light display will run from 4pm every day from 15th-25th December.

The London Eye is open from 11am to 6pm every day through the festive season, except from Christmas Day. Advance purchase tickets are available from £27.00. To book please visit:
