NEW VEGAN INDONESIAN KITCHEN COMES TO BOXPARK CROYDON FOR VEGANUARY

Veganuary is returning in 2022 with more plant-based dining options than ever. London’s vegan community and those wanting to try a meat-free diet in January should head to BOXPARK for a range of vegan street food outlets and brand new Veganuary-exclusive concept.

BOXPARK Croydon welcomes a new, vegan-friendly Indonesian kitchen ‘Enak’ (translated ‘tasty’ in Indonesian) this Veganuary. Enak offers traditional Indonesian street food dishes with impactful and colourful flavours including its signature Aubergine & Tempeh Curry and Jackfruit Curry, complemented by other small bites such as Vegetable Fritters and Cassava Fries.Head to Unit 27 to give Enak a try – open until 31st January.

The meat-free menu at BOXPARK venues goes far beyond this – there are plenty of plant-based dishes for diners to devour, from Greek gyros to Seitan steaks. Prepare to feast your eyes on colourful cruelty-free cuisine.

Japanese-Latin fusion street food concept Sugoi JPN is launching a new style poke bowl this Veganuary, feature Korokke (Japanese pumpkin croquette), mixed cabbage, edamame, avocado, lamb’s lettuce, mango, beni shoji (pickled ginger), sesame seeds and sweet soy glazed sauce.

Mao Chow

Plant-based Chinese food pop-up Mao Chow boasts intricate vegan dishes, each with their own tale to tell. Expect spicy Dan Dan Noodles, Dumplings in Chilli Oil and spicy + tingly Chongqing Cauliflower. Or try its Kung Pao Chicken, Prawn Toast, or sweet fluffy Char Siu Bao.

The Athenian

Greek street food favourites The Athenian have an exciting plant-based menu featuring signature Vegan Gyros, Tomato Croquettes Souvlaki, Courgette Fritters Souvlaki, THIS isn’t Chicken Nuggets Souvlaki, Plant-based Halloumi Fries, Halloumi Souvlaki Wrap, plus Oregano Fries and Greek Salad.

Neapolitan pizzeria Fatto A Mano is offering a Veganuary special with a Smoked Vegan Cheese & Roasted Radicchio Pizza – topped with pea cream, roasted radicchio, smoked vegan cheese, black olives, basil, and balsamic glaze.

MEATliquor

Known for its meat-based meals, MEATliquor is going plant-based for Veganuary with a range of dishes including its ‘Burgaloo’ – Roast potato & white onion patty, pickled pink onions, lime pickle, soy yoghurt, red chillies, sev jini. Also on the menu is ‘Tempeh Tantrum’ – Double patty Club Cultured Tempeh, Mushrooms & Beetroot patties, ‘Cheese’, Burger Sauce, Lettuce, Pickles.
