A 22-year-old man who was attacked in Golders Green has said “It feels like the dark times in 1940’”

Speaking on GB News, the victim said: “Around two in the morning, I was just walked there. I saw a group of six people with black hoodies and masks or something like that. I felt some suspicion and when they see me, they’re running to me, like in a few seconds.

“They attack me, they kick me with their hands, with the legs, and they tell me some negative in some in Arabic and some in English, like mother***** or something like that.

“I clearly think [they attacked me] because of my religion. That’s it. I said something in Hebrew on the phone and I didn’t talk with them, I just walked and they attacked me. They just listened to me.

“They know that it’s a Jewish area.

“It’s not just that they kicked me; it feels like the dark times in 1940, that happened, like the Holocaust when some people just attacked Jewish people.

“For a few seconds in my mind I think that maybe they’re going to kill me. Because why not? It’s happened here.

“I probably don’t feel safe [in London] now. And something needs to change, one thousand percent.

“My message to Europe, and to the security, to the government here, to the police, that they need to wake up. They need to wake up. Something needs to change.”
